Cara Mae Melton is a dynamic executive who has been applying expertise in business strategy, oversight, operations, and development over the last 22 years for early stage and start up organizations. She is an innovator and entrepreneur focused on solving consumer and business problems through the creation and delivery of inventive programs and solutions.Â
Melton has held C-level roles in for profit and nonprofit organizations. Recently her experience has been in starting and/or running multiple companies in the legal, health and military verticals. She was the co-founder and CEO of CareConscious, LLC, and held the role of VP of Products at IdAvatars, Inc. Additionally, Melton held the roles of COO and VP of Business Development for Lawinfo.com, Inc. (now a Thompson company) as well as the role of COO for America’s Mighty Warriors.
Melton is currently co-founder and President of Heal the Warriors, Inc., CEO / President of Hampton Roads Hyperbaric Therapy, Inc., CEO of Tidewater Hyperbaric, LLC, and a Principal at Ripple Group. She was also a founding board member for the National Hyperbaric Association (now known as Hyperbaric Medicine International).Â
Melton served in the US Navy for 5.5 years and was trained as a Naval Instructor. She holds a BS in Business Management, attended Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and held real estate licenses in New York and Virginia.Â
